HARLEM: A HOME TO LEARN FROM

I lived in Harlem my whole life and although I am fortunate to call such a historic place my home, I am but an observer of Harlem. Having been a child for most of my life so far, I have been a passenger to the change that Harlem is going through. Watching black turn into white and poverty turn into wealth, I have been confronted with not only the power of creation, but also the power of destruction. And what brings the two together is time. That is where I live and that is what I call my home.
